Σ-fly (sigmafly) – tetrachrome ep

I’m absolutely in love with this label at the moment. It wasn’t until this release was I even aware of it, but thanks to Manchester’s Tom Holmes did I continue to dig and bask in the works of both Rain Dog and Essáy as well.

Cut Music is setting the bar high for netlabels, providing all of their releases for free by passing the word along via Twitter. Their tranquil aesthetic compliments a catalog that fuses elements of downbeat, hiphop and dubstep, or as Essay’s work coins, “ambstep”. Whatever your step, this is a label following the beat of their own drum and they’ve continued to introduce ground breaking work for the price of a click.
